Government of Haiti

The Haitian Government is represented in the US by its Embassy in Washington, at http://haiti.org.

The state institutions, which parallel those of other major democracies in having Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches, are described at http://www.haiti.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=78&Itemid=2. The official languages are French and Creole (Kriyol).

Haiti also has a permanent mission to the Organization of American States, as described at http://www.haiti.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=75&Itemid=93.
